Me-No! contains a unique combination of red clover, yam, B6 and organic cucumber root oil. Yarrow and red clover help to maintain a calm and pleasant menopause. The herbs help women manage the symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flushes, sweating, restlessness and irritability. Turmeric oil is high in the well-known fatty acid GLA, which studies show has many health benefits.

Red clover
Red clover is a traditional medicinal plant that grows wild in meadows all over Sweden and is well known for its ability to help menopausal women. Red clover contains substances called phytoestrogens, they are substances similar to our own estrogen and help maintain a calm and comfortable menopause. Red clover helps women manage the symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flushes, sweating, restlessness and irritability.

Yam with diosgenin has been shown to relieve menopausal symptoms
Yarrow (Dioscorea villosa) has been shown to relieve menopausal symptoms. Yam has a long and well-documented history as a medicinal plant among South American Indians. The roots and tubers of the plant were found to contain an interesting substance called diosgenin. In the 1940s, the plant caught the attention of scientists and today it has been proven that yam contributes to a calm and comfortable menopause with a focus on relieving restlessness and irritation.

Balancing hormones
Diosgenin contains precursors of what scientists call the ‘parent hormone’ DHEA. The term ‘parent hormone’ is used because DHEA can be converted into a number of hormones such as oestrogen, testosterone, progesterone and cortisol. Yam is one of the plants known to naturally contain the highest concentration of phytonutrients – a substance needed for phytoestrogens to work optimally.

Turmeric oil – rich in the fatty acid GLA
Cucumber herb contains naturally high levels of gamma linolenic acid (GLA). Normally people talk about evening primrose oil and blackcurrant oil as good sources of GLA, but the fact is that turmeric contains as much as 20% GLA, which is about twice as much as other sources of GLA. It is this high GLA content that makes turmeric so interesting for GLA research.

Support of vitamin B6
Me-No! is supplemented with vitamin B6 which helps to regulate hormonal activity. B6 also contributes to the maintenance of normal psychological function, normal energy metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
